Allan Hirsch

For more than 30 years, Allan has been telling stories to young children and to elementary school students. He now has a wonderful Turtle Theater (a large tent that holds up to 50 children).

Among the programs he offers is "Turtle Tales Around the World." His repertoire includes the folk and fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, as well as riddle tales, American legends, Christmas stories, Halloween stories, Lewis and Clark for Kids, and much more.

Allan Hirsch has 10 recordings of music and stories for kids, and is the recipient of 2 Parent's Choice Awards! He is a member of the North American Traveling Musicians Union Local 1000. He also provides early childhood educators with workshops and a keynote presentation, "The Songs and Stories of Childhood."
