I was a teacher, performing dancer, and puppeteer before becoming a full-time professional storyteller and author. I've taught storytelling for educators at Seattle Pacific University, toured with the Washington State Cultural Enrichment Program, was a Washington State Artist-in-Residence, and currently serve as president of the Seattle Storytellers Guild. I perform at Young Authors' Conferences, schools, libraries, museums, and festivals, solo and in tandem with my daughters. I present my workshop, "Crazy Gibberish and Other Story Hour Stretches," to library systems across the nation. Honors include Parents' Choice Gold, three Storytelling World Awards, Anne Izard Storytellers' Choice Award. See website for details. |
